Reserve prices and Buy It Now are free to add. If an item ends below your reserve, it doesn't sell and there's no sale fee, and you can re-list it for free.
Buyers pay sellers directly through PayPal, so PayPal charges the seller its own fee, which we don't control or collect. Sellers buy the postage themselves; the shipping the buyer pays is meant to cover it.
Shipping: always USPS, always fair
- Every item ships with USPS. No other carriers, no mystery fees.
- Buyers pay USPS's discounted commercial online rate. That's the lower price available when postage is bought online, not the higher post office counter price. Buyers can also choose a stamped envelope (PWE, up to 3 oz, about a dollar) or a large envelope (up to 13 oz) at checkout; those use First-Class Mail rates and have no tracking, and the buyer accepts that risk.
- Our site calculates the shipping, and only our site. Sellers enter the real weight and package size, USPS prices it, and the buyer sees the exact cost before paying. Sellers can't set their own shipping price or add handling charges.

Common questions
- When am I charged?
- Once a month, in a single charge to the card on file. A card is needed to list, even for free listings, but you're only charged if you owe something.
- Where does the sale money go?
- Straight from the buyer to you through PayPal. We never hold your money, and our sale fee comes out of your monthly bill, not out of your payment.
- What if the buyer never pays?
- Report it on the listing page, from 4 days after the auction ends, after you check your PayPal. We contact the buyer, who has 3 days to say they paid, and then review it. If a buyer says they paid, answer them within 5 days (confirm it or say it didn't arrive), or we treat the order as paid. If the buyer truly didn't pay, we cancel the sale fee and your listing fee (and refund them to your card if they were already charged), and you can re-list the item for free.
- What if my item doesn't sell?
- Re-list it for free, as many times as it stays unsold: no listing fee, and it doesn't use up your free listings. A re-list is the same item (same title and photos), though you can lower the price and add details. You can also edit a listing before it has bids, or cancel it.
- Are there any other fees?
- No. The listing fee and the sale fee are everything we charge. See the Terms for the full details.
